How to create an autoresponder for a specific time period in cPanel

First thing first let’s know a bit about auto responder Auto Responder is one of the feature of cPanel mail that can be programmed to automatically send predefined response messages to anyone sending mail to a particular inbox.

Now without wasting further time lets move ahead and learn how to turn on the autoresponder?

Process

Step 1- Log into cPanel

The first and foremost thing to do is to log into the cPanel. Now you will be able to see the home screen. So, you are ready to follow the next step.

Step 2 - Click on the Auto Responder icon

In the mail section you will find the icon of ‘Auto Responder’. Click on that.

Step 3 - Set specific time period

Now learn to set specific time period. All you have to do is to set a time period by editing an existing autoresponder, or while creating a new one. To edit an already existing one click on ‘Edit’.

Step 4 - Click on the custom option

Click the Custom option next to Start.

Step 5 - Select a specific date and time

Then select a specific date and time for your autoresponder to start the work.

Step 6 - Mention the date and time when you want it to stop

Click Custom by Stop and select a date and time for it to stop working.

Step 7 - Save the changes

When finished, click Create/Modify.

That's it! The custom time period has been setup for the autoresponder to work. Auto Responder will start sending replies promptly from the email address you specified, based on the time you selected for initialization.
