How to change an email accounts quota in cPanel


Users have the ability to set email quota for each email account when creating email accounts within cPanel. It can also be manually adjusted if a user expects an influx of incoming emails, or if a user is about to exceed the quota that is allocated.

Process

Step 1- Log into your cPanel

The first and foremost thing to do is to log into cPanel and you are currently on the home screen.

Step 2 - Open Email account

In the main section, you will find the icon of ‘Email accounts’. Click on the icon and follow the next step.

Step 3- Choose the account whose quota you want to change

Locate the email account you want to change, then click on the ‘Change Quota' link beside it.

Step 4 - Enter the new value

You will see two options on your screen, If you want to set a fixed amount then choose the value of mail quota and if you want unlimited then select the option ‘Unlimited’.

Step 5 - Save the changes

Then click on the ‘change quota’ icon.
